Can I refund or exchange my art?
-No refunds once orders are placed.
-Orders cannot be cancelled once placed- these are all created for your order, even the signed prints & any framing involved
-We do not accept returns or exchanges on any artwork or other products, including books, once it has been purchased unless it is damaged.
We package and ship all artwork very well to ensure that there will be no damages, but if this happens to occur, please contact us within 5 days of delivery date.
In the rare case your artwork is damaged during shipping: Please notify us within the 5 days after the receipt date of your art, so we can take the proper steps.
It is up to you to unpack and inspect the artwork at time of receipt. We cannot help you if more than this time period passes without reporting damage.
PLEASE keep the original packaging--USPS,UPS or FedEx & freight require it in order for us to file a claim. We will need clear photos of the packaging & the damaged item or we cannot assist you.
We will either see if the art is repairable or replace the item for the same item only.
Most of the art is created at the time you place your order--it is made to order (the painted pieces)- we do not already have it made and ready to ship. This is why, once you place the order, it cannot be altered or cancelled--Much of it is also one of a kind hand painted and requires the dedicated time of the artist to paint your unique piece.

What if I ordered the wrong item or forgot to use my VIP/promo code?
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER AT CHECKOUT..
If you order an incorrect quantity of items or a wrong order-
it cannot be refunded & it is too late to stop the order once processed within 12-24 hours.
-When we offer VIP discounts (codes) & you fail to apply the discount at checkout during purchase, we cannot retroactively apply it...
we will incur fees & cannot do that, so be sure you use it at the time you checkout. -

How long is the shipping & turnaround time for prints? How long does framing take?
Fulfillment/Turnaround Time:
Our 17"x22" signed prints are printed made to order-we do not keep stock of these.
The usual processing time for unframed prints is 72 hours (3 business days) to fill the order, package and then ship to you.
The framing process is custom and will take approx 1 & 1/2 -2 weeks to frame after the print is created/signed--
please let us know if there is any rush requested because this is the usual timing for framing. Allow for shipping time as well.
Shippers do not guarantee delivery times during holidays.
Much of the art requires a signature upon delivery due to value or size-please make arrangements or have item shipped to address where someone will be available to accept.
We are not responsible if you are unable to receive from shipper.
All framed artwork is created and framed at time of order and also cannot be returned.
As noted on the Prints area on the site...All final framed sizes vary according to the various art image proportions.
We do not guarantee or mention any exact final framed size, only approximations.
The framed print art is not all the same size due to different proportions of each art image.
*Do not expect them all to have exact final framed sizes.
How long will my hand created mixed media framed or canvas piece take & how do they ship?
Mixed media unique pieces on paper or canvas do take time but good things are worth the wait!
These pieces are created for you at the time of your order.
An average of 2+ months is approximate for a large canvas original but the timing varies & can be more or less.
Framed mixed media on paper artwork takes approx 2-3 weeks average, depending on the current schedule.
This does not include shipping time. Let us know if any specific time frame is needed & we can see if it's possible to accommodate.
**Please ask any questions prior to placing the order. Once shipped-you are responsible for receiving it.
Will I receive a tracking number?
You will receive tracking info emailed to you directly..
If you order a print, framed or unframed, from online- the site will send you an automated tracking # which is created for UPS at the time it is taken for framing.
You may receive an early email with your tracking # before it ships, because the site will send it within 7 days of your order, but please keep in mind that framing alone can take over a week possibly so keep checking your tracking for updates.
You can also check for tracking with your order on the site.
The larger artwork will ship via freight, usually in a box well wrapped on to a pallet to prevent damage. You will be emailed the tracking for the freight & the link for tracking once it has been issued. You will need to schedule the delivery once they shipper calls you and be available to receive & sign for it.
What if I put an incorrect shipping address?
It is up to you to correctly input the shipping address on the order online at the time the order is placed.
If any part of the shipping address in not correct or cannot be delivered for any reason and is redirected, shipped back or damaged as a result--we are not responsible.
We cannot be held responsible either for shipping changes or delays due to the shipper, weather or if you are not available to accept the art or give us an incorrect address or phone number to deliver to.
There may be a fee if you have an address change once it's in mid shipment or if you need to redirect a shipment. If you are not available or you are unreachable to arrange your delivery -you will be held responsible for all fees if the art has to be stored or shipped back to us.
Call us immediately if you realize something is wrong.
What if I place my order more than once because I didn't think it processed?
If you have any questions at all regarding the website or how to use it, please contact us before ordering.
We have had clients place multiple orders thinking they didn't process and we have to cancel all but one.
This costs us money for their error. Shopify still keeps your % fee regardless if order is voided/cancelled.
We have now started to charge that fee to all orders that were incorrectly -it can range from $12-$100+, depending on cost of items.
We do not want to have to charge anyone this fee and we also do not want to incur such a fee so PLEASE double check the order & your email confirmation you will receive. If in doubt if the order processed-contact us before attempting another order.
If we need to cancel/void your order for any reason after placing it-you will be charges this fee.
Can I ask for something to be customized on my mixed media hand painted art?
For an additional custom fee-
You can opt to customize text in thought bubbles and do slight modifications to specific pieces if the artist agrees it will work and look good with the overall composition of the art.
He does not unfortunately have time to create original commissions, but can modify and customize certain elements, so please inquire if interested and we will supply a quote.
Note-With special custom requests, colors altered or custom thought bubbles)--
There are no final approvals on the art -the artist has the creative license to choose ultimate composition of any art and vary colors & images as needed (using the client's custom specifications as best he can) to make the artwork look it's very best-
it's why you trust him so let him do his magic. You won't be disappointed.
Will you ship internationally?
-At this time, we currently do not ship the small size unframed or framed prints outside the US.
-they are too fragile and too costly for international shipment, customs, duties, because they ship flat-not rolled & cannot be bent.
We can however create the larger, custom sized prints- FRAMED only - or the mixed media framed or original canvases to ship internationally.
The site will not process international orders, so please call or email with your specific art request and full shipping address and we will quote you.
Although we do ship the larger pieces internationally, they require a quote and/or your personal shipping account before purchasing.
The resin artwork cannot be shipped internationally, due to it's more fragile nature.
We can ship to Hawaii & Puerto Rico but there will most likely be an added charge depending on your order & delivery method. It is much more expensive to ship to these locations so it will be at our discretion how we ship there. We will quote you the regular fee & allow you to pay extra up-charge. Ask in advance if unsure.
I am sending this as a gift-can I have you write something for me & say who it's from? When he signs my book or puzzle...can he add my name?

Please specify in the comments section of your order during checkout if you'd like something written on the enclosed card Remember they may not know who it's from. Let them know you sent it!
If you are ordering a book, puzzle or gift type item that states it is signed-
please also note if you'd like the signature written to your name or a specific name. If not-it will have the artist's signature alone.
I saw his work at several galleries worldwide-how do I know it's authentic ?
GALLERIES:
We are very particular about the galleries we sell the Nelson De La Nuez artwork to that is allowed to resell the art.
They are all very prestigious, high end galleries. If the work is ever found in other sources or online at secondary markets--we cannot always control those situations although we will stop selling to anyone we believe is undervaluing any work or misrepresenting the art or the artist.
The artist's values have increased dramatically over the past few years and we work with our galleries to retain the utmost integrity for all clients and their purchases to reassure that it's a great investment and sound purchase.
If you find artwork that appears to be too inexpensive/"too good to be true,"-it's possible it's not authentic, especially if it's an untrusted source such as Ebay or Etsy or a little known gallery. There are many cheap auction houses nowadays that you cannot trust online. Be careful. Buy from a reputable, authorized De La Nuez gallery or direct from our studios.

Will I receive a Certificate of Authenticity?
All of Nelson De La Nuez's original, mixed media and limited edition artwork is currently sold with a certificate of authenticity.
If you didn’t make your purchase from one of his direct websites (theMOHA.com is the other), we can not guarantee its legitimacy. We work with many art galleries, and suggest you contact them for a COA upon sale.
We cannot issue COAs for artwork not sold directly by us or by our resellers/galleries. We do not issue COAs for artwork sold in the past.
