The blend of creative energy and rebellious spirit exuded by Bubble watches has allowed Corum to break the rules of luxury watchmaking and create a language that is unique to the range. Giving artists free rein to reinterpret a collection in their own image, it is now the turn of American artist Nelson De La Nuez, the King of Pop Art, to re-imagine his own models, his own exclusive collection.

Upon closer inspection, one might wonder why the partnership between Corum and Nelson De La Nuez hadn’t occurred earlier, as it seems inevitable that their two worlds would meet, something that struck Jérôme Biard, CEO of Corum, while visiting an art gallery: "Nelson De La Nuez is one of those artists who doesn't follow trends, who creates his own universe by gathering inspiration from his surroundings and always manages to be innovative".

By entrusting the King of Pop Art with the keys to create this new collection, Corum once again sets itself apart by not simply absorbing works of art but by allowing its Bubble watches to become art. Currently in the making, the complete Corum Bubble collection by Nelson De La Nuez will be revealed to the public at Art Basel Miami in December 2017.

Known as The King of Pop Art, has his artwork hanging in some of the most prominent, private collections of actors, directors, producers, comedians, corporations and art connoisseurs. You can also see the art in the permanent, private collections at the prestigious VIP Delta One and Sky Club airports lounges at LAX and JFK. Michael Jackson's Last Art Purchase

Michael Jackson bought some pretty expensive art two weeks before he died.

On June 11, Jackson purchased a picture of the Wicked Witch of the West, a painting called "The Donut Queen," and a painting called "Play Ball." The artist for all three works was Nelson De La Nuez. 

We're told Jackson was "obsessed" with the Wicked Witch painting.

Before Michael Jackson died, he ordered three pieces of art for his children -- and today they're finally going to be delivered.

We've learned Jackson picked out the paintings "Alice in Dali Land," "Lost Fairy Tales" and "Flavor of the Month" from artist Nelson De La Nuez -- and they were supposed to be dropped off the week of his death.

Obviously, the plans had to be shuffled around -- but we're told Katherine Jackson has arranged for the artwork to be dropped off this afternoon.
As TMZ previously reported, Jackson had a thing for the artist.


What was MJ’s final gift to Prince, Paris and Blanket before he died? Apparently, Michael ordered a set of 3 paintings by artist Nelson De La Nuez for his kids, entitled “Alice in Dali Land,” “Lost Fairy Tales” and “Flavor of the Month.”

The paintings were originally supposed to be delivered on the week following Michael’s death… unfortunately, that didn’t work out. Instead, Katherine arranged to have them delivered yesterday.
But of course, we know most of the mystique that hangs over the children comes from super-fascinating dad — who’s so cool that he ordered his kids cartoon-themed, original pop art.

Apparently, MJ loved De La Nuez’s art.
